Drott Lodge meets once a month except for July and August.  Our regular monthly meetings, from September through May, include a cultural program and socializing with refreshments. There are four Special Meetings which are the Welcome Back Potluck Dinner, the Lucia Pageant, the Officers Installation, and the Peasoup and Pancakes Dinner.  The Annual Special events are our November Swedish Bazaar and the June Midsummer Picnic with the American Scandinavian Association and Finlandia Foundation.

Refreshments at Meeting

We NOW usually meet every 2nd Sunday of the month at 2:00 PM at:

St. James Episcopal Church

Our short business meeting is followed by a Cultural Program . Some examples have been programs of: The Eds Choir from Uppland, Sweden; Swedish Art Slides and Presentation by Smithsonian’s Dr. Karin Frenze (and Lodge member); Craft Night; Geneology Research, Youth Night, etc. To the left is a picture taken at Silly Hat Night.

The Cultural Program is followed by a delicious table of sandwiches and desserts. Bringing a dessert and /or helping in the kitchen is a good way to get to know other members.

We have our own Swedish Bazaar on the first Saturday in November. We have four Special Meetings each year plus the Joint Midsummer Picnic with the American Scandinavian Association and the Swedish Women's Educational Association.  The special meetings are the Pea Soup Dinner (see top picture on the right) in the spring, the St. Lucia Program (see bottom picture on the right) in December, the Installation Meeting in January, and the Peasoup Dinner in March.
