In consideration for participant comfort due to heat levels during mid-day, and to ensure our 60^th Midsommar celebration carries on, we are adjusting the start time of our midsommar celebration this year.  Looking forward to celebrating with you all!

Midsommar 2025 will now start at 10:30am.

Celebrate Scandinavian Midsummer with the American Scandinavian Association, Drott Lodge, Finlandia Foundation, NCC, and SWEA DC.

Join us at the Carderock Picnic Pavilion to decorate the Maypole together, create your own traditional flower crown, sing and dance to live music, and play Midsummar games. Please bring your own picnic and drinks. The event is free.
