Our April 12 meeting is a family-friendly celebration. Children are encouraged to dress as Easter witches and can enjoy coloring Easter cards or participating in a craft activity. Adults will create table centerpieces in the form of Easter trees.

After crafting, we’ll gather to enjoy a meal featuring traditional Easter dishes. This meeting will be held on Orthodox Easter.
-----------
Members will make traditional Swedish Easter centerpieces made with branches, feathers, and eggs, called påskris (pronounced posk-rees), and then give out candy to our “Easter Witches & Trolls” who visit each table, delivering their hand-made cards. This will be the inaugural event for our new children’s club: Tomtar & Troll!
We will also have a station set-up for adults to color candles; dipping candles into beautiful spring colors.
We will enjoy a påskbord Potluck after our crafts. Please bring a dish to share (traditional faire includes, salmon, herring, lamb, new potatoes, creamy casseroles, and dill, Janssons frestelse (potato-anchovy gratin), gubbröra (egg-anchovy salad).
The Lodge will provide a Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce, as a simple and refreshing, very common way to finish the meal.
